After a long search, we finally found two spots that stole our hearts: a cozy house on the Zeeland coast and an idyllic place in Ossenzijl, right in the middle of the Weerribben-Wieden National Park. Although they are two completely different worlds, you will find the exact same ultimate peace in both locations.

Within the exclusive Waterstaete holiday park, we have created a truly unique sanctuary. Our spacious 8-person holiday home is situated directly on the edge of the Weerribben-Wieden National Park. This location makes it the perfect choice for families wishing to enjoy quality time together in a stylish setting. An highlight is the private boathouse with your own Boat, available to you throughout your entire stay.

In 2020, we built an exclusive holiday home for up to ten guests within the Roompot Beach Resort in Nieuwvliet-Bad. The house is directly bordering the protected "Verdronken Zwarte Polder" Natura 2000 nature reserve. The North Sea beach can be reached in just a few minutes, which is perfect for endless seaside walks.
This premium, solidly built thatched villa seamlessly combines stylish comfort with luxurious spaciousness, providing a nice setting for families and multi-generational stays under one roof. Enjoy the fresh air and tranquility in your private, fully enclosed outdoor area. The garden is equipped with sun loungers and a comfortable lounge set. These are ideal for unwinding and gathering together.
The view into the surrounding nature remains unobstructed, providing an idyllic getaway. Be sure to bring a hammock along to enjoy the garden to the fullest. The leaves of the small, nearby forest rustle gently in the wind while you read a book or simply relax.
At our Waterstaete home, a truly unique experience awaits you, featuring a lockable terrace situated directly over the water. From here, you can easily step into our private electric boat inside the boathouse. Alternatively, you can head straight into the water via the swimming ladder.
The surroundings invite you to simply spend the day by the waterfront or stay active with a rented canoe, a fishing rod, or your own SUP. Enjoy the tranquility, water sports, and idyllic scenery while waiting for your next catch to bite. For those who prefer to explore the National Park on two wheels, you can either bring your own bicycles or easily rent them directly at the park.

The houses feature 4 and 5 bedrooms respectively, with one bedroom always located on the ground floor, complete with an en-suite bathroom. This provides essential comfort and accessibility for older guests or those with limited mobility, a detail that was especially important to us.

Afterward, between early March and late October, you can set off on a relaxing boat trip with our private, house-owned boat, safely moored in the boathouse right next to your holiday villa.
Pull up for lunch at one of the waterfront restaurants along the Kalenberger Gracht or near the "Three-Way Lock" (Drei-Wege-Schleuse). From there, your journey through the enchanting waterways can continue. In the evening, the whole family gathers on the cozy wooden terrace to end the day in atmospheric style over a shared dinner. Overnight, the boat recharges and is fully ready for your next adventure the following day!
